Tradewinds Spice Company was the first original spice company on Kauai, founded by Martin Rice in January 1990. For many years Martin was the food and beverage manager at Coco Palms. Coco Palms was once Kauai's most iconic resort, where the rich and famous once stayed and Elvis Presley's filmed Blue Hawaii. While working in the restaurant industry, Martin gained a passion for spices, he began working with local chefs to create custom blends for their restaurants here on Kauai.
Now known as Tradewinds Spice Company of Hawaii owned and operated by Cindy Johnson "Spice Lady". Specializing in over 100 herbs and spices a long with Martin's unique specialty blends. We hand-packaged per order for quality freshness from our kitchen to yours.
